Michael Ende hat uns eine wundervolle Figur und Vorstellung geschenkt, nämlich die des Scheinriesen mit dem Namen Herr Tur Tur. Das ist ein normaler älterer Mann, der aus weiterer Entfernung gesehen immer größer erscheint, eben wie ein Riese. Wenn man sich aber nicht fürchtet und auf ihn zugeht, ist der scheinbare Riese nur ein einfacher Mensch. Er erscheint also in der Ferne nicht kleiner, sondern größer!
