In July 2010, aycan had its first official appearance in Japan during the “International Modern Hospital Show” in Tokyo.
The interested visitors were able to see for themselves the outstanding quality of “aycan xray-print” at Japans most comprehensive hospital show.
Together with hardware partner FujiXerox, aycan introduced the cost saving solution of sharing images on plain paper, instead of or in addition to traditional blue-film and patient CDs.
With installations in more than 20 countries all over the world, aycan is considered the market leader when it comes to plain paper DICOM paper-print and is now also available for radiology departments throughout Japan.
